Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Our BIG Project

We are so excited to be building a house and seeing it get built has been so amazing. It is so exciting to drive by and see the changes. It is so close to being done I can't wait!

Happy 10th Anniversary

We celebrated our 10th year anniversary by going to California. We went kayaking in the ocean. I got sea sick and it was the worst experience ever. We also went to the San Diego Temple, played tennis and went hiking down a cave. It was the first vacation with out our kiddos and we are looking forward to many more!

School Started!

School days look a little like this. Carter and Camden are off to school looking as sharp as ever, Addisyn then get ready to go and I am here with Miss Mabry. Some days we have fun playing and sometimes she entertains herself with a marker-GUILTY! We go get the boys and Camden often times falls asleep and Carter goes outside after homework is done and practices kicking to ball as high as he can- the picture captures Addisyn running right in front of the ball he just kicked and her trying to miss it. Something she has gotten good at!

Summer Vacation

This summer we were able to go to California and enjoy the beach, Legoland, Mormon Batallion, Ghiradelli's and Miguel's. I only got a few pictures because I was busy having fun!

Addisyn turned 4 this month! She has been planning this birthday since she turned 3. We went to see a movie then had a pinata. She was so excited to get a Rapunzel dress that she wore it to nana and papa's on Sunday for her party with them!

Memorial Weekend

We went up to the Cabin with Derek's Family on Memorial Weekend. The kids had so much fun with their cousins. We went hiking and fishing.

Camping

 

We went camping up in Payson with my family a couple of weeks ago. The kids had a ball. Camden and Carter loved riding the quads and rolling rocks down the hill. Camden got so tired that he fell asleep during lunch. Addisyn explored most of the time and Mabry laid around in the dirt after she got worn out from exploring too. They got as dirty as they could and loved every minute of it.

Student of the Month

Carter was student of the month at school! I was told about this 2 weeks before and was planning on being there for the little ceremony. Friday morning came, we all got ready and we got in the car to race to the school to be there. As we were driving I realized Carter forgot his back pack so we went back. I am thinking that's Ok we will be a few minutes late. Finally we get there and there was no parents or teachers to be found. Carter was so nervous because he didn't know why we were there that early so he was happy just to go play. I get home and had a message on my phone that they were in the multipurpose room. I felt so bad that we missed it but she gave him his award in class that day. She sent home a letter that said why he was chosen~
I feel this student deserves The Student of the Month Award because he is smart and strives to learn new things on a daily basis. He is friendly, kind and considerate to all of his classmates. He is a real joy to have in class. His smile brightens up my day!

My Helpers

This week Camden and Addisyn helped me make sugar cookies. It was so fun to get everything out and make them but we soon realized it was not so fun to clean up.

Girly Girls

Addisyn's little friends were here last week and they just make me giggle everytime they are together. I just had to get a picture of these cute girlies!

Mabry thinks she is one of them and tags along. This was the first day I put her hair in pig tails, so stinkin' cute!

Finally Finished!

The piano is finally finished! I have been wanting to do something with this hand me down piano for forever. And I finally had enough guts to get the sander out and start on the bench. Then it was the actually piano and I did not know what I got my self (OR Derek) into. Here's the before and after.

Lemonade 4 Sale

Some might think that it needs to be summer time before the lemonade stand come out but it is hot enough here that February is perfect. It started out as everyone wanting to help.

Then it ended up being Camden and Addisynthat stuck around waiting and waiting.

Big Ball = FUN

I am not usually one to buy something that I didn't plan on buying but we were shopping at Costco the other day and there was this ball. It looked like so much fun so I had to. SO I did! And we love it. It is so much fun. It was a lot of work getting it blown up but it was worth it.

Doggy Sitting

Addisyn loves my Mom's dog Lucy. We were able to have Lucy at our house for a couple of days. While she is at our house the kids love to take her out and run around with her.

Camden had a night out with Derek at Preschool.

8 is GREAT!

Carter turned 8 and got baptized. Here he is on his big day!

We had so much fun on Mabry's Birthday. We went up to the Cabin to play in the snow and celebrate up there.
