Do Beetles Fly???

I was driving with the kids a couple months ago and I was trying to play the Slug Bug game. I tried explaining what the VW beetle was called and the game. So we go along and Camdem points out the {Mosquito}. I explain the name again and keep trying to play. Now today we were driving and Camden asked if the beetle car can fly. He explained to me that real beetles fly and so do rockets sooooooo can the beetle car fly???
